I am passionate about healthy food and the well-being we can achieve through it
Nature has equipped us with the power to keep us physically and mentally happy and healthy.
Trust your body
Our bodies’ natural state is health, indicating that each of us possesses innate healing capabilities. However, the food and pharmaceutical industries often promote disconnection from our natural senses and healing abilities. I am dedicated to raising awareness and knowledge to facilitate a reconnection with ourselves, leading to improved health and happiness. This can be achieved through simple practices such as consuming nutrient-dense foods, engaging in physical activity, and fostering a strong mind-body connection. I firmly believe in the power of nature, yet many have lost touch with this connection and trust in our inherent unity with the natural world.
Be curious
My passion for nutritious cuisine, combined with an insatiable curiosity and a drive to seek answers, has guided me towards a journey of exploration and study in the field of Holistic Nutrition. In 2017, I completed my studies at CSNN, Canada’s premier Holistic Nutrition School, earning a Diploma in Holistic Nutrition. Motivated by an innate thirst for knowledge, I continue to delve into the realms of natural health, investigating the intricate connections between body, mind, nutrition, and our environment.
Do it your way
Through personal experience, I’ve learned that simply consuming healthy foods doesn’t guarantee optimal health, and regular gym visits don’t always result in a Victoria’s Secret model physique. It’s crucial to understand that there’s no universal “best” or “perfect” diet or lifestyle that suits everyone. My own journey, including struggles with hormone imbalances and family experiences with childhood bedwetting, highlighted the individuality of our nutritional needs. This underscores the invaluable role of Holistic Nutrition Consulting, which embraces a personalized approach tailored to each individual’s unique goals, body-mind connections, and health concerns.
Nourishing the roots of our children
Growing up in a family of four, I was fortunate to be raised by parents who cherished home-cooked meals. With diverse cultural backgrounds – Turkish, Austrian, and German – my sister and I were exposed to a rich tapestry of culinary influences. While I may not have fully appreciated it as a child, as an adult, wife, and mother, I am deeply grateful for the kitchen skills and cultural heritage passed down by my parents. Every time I chop herbs or prepare Turkish dishes learned from my mother, I fondly remember my father’s presence in the kitchen and teaching us kids his culinary knowledge. Our roots are the foundation of who we are, and it’s essential to preserve these traditions for future generations. If you haven’t experienced a healthy nutritional foundation, now is the time to start learning and creating it for the well-being of your family.
Don’t get fooled by the food industry
I derive immense joy from assisting individuals in connecting the dots and navigating through a modern world often influenced by large industries. In today’s supermarket aisles saturated with disease-causing processed foods, it’s challenging to avoid falling into unhealthy traps. Let’s face it: we’re amidst a health crisis, especially concerning our children. They are increasingly afflicted by neurological defects, allergies, and chronic diseases, with the alarming prospect of being the first generation with a shorter life expectancy than their parents. There has never been a more crucial time to prioritize our food choices. Understanding how our food is produced and its origins is paramount. By nurturing curiosity and awareness, we equip our children and grandchildren with invaluable tools for a healthier future.
I am passionate about teaching families how healthy food can influence their health and well-being.
